Relabeling, Repackaging and Retrofitting
Many companies have a need today for rework of a product shipped in from a manufacturer or returned
by a customer.
Cerqa provides rework services ranging from simple relabeling and/or repackaging to
comprehensive electronic or mechanical retrofitting. Rework is a key part of our
Reverse Logistics Solution.
Rework Processes
Relabeling - Barcodes both 1-D & 2-D can be a challenge for companies to
consistently produce. Cerqa can manufacture, grade and re-apply barcode labels.
Retrofitting - After a visual inspection or comprehensive analysis
determines a product needs to be fixed or re-assembled, Cerqa provides the actual segregation, repair and
utilization of the non-conforming product.
Repackaging - Whether a product was retrofitted upon receiving it or had zero defects
and simply needed to be recovered, Cerqa can repackage the item and return it to the supply chain.
Recycling - Many companies today are concerned with recycling of unused, damaged, or
returned products. Cerqa has partnered with many recyclers to provide cost effective “Green” solutions for
recycling of products. In many cases Cerqa has changed an expense into a profit center through the use of
this service.
