Cerqa’s purchasing group continually seeks new and improved product sources through a variety of methods including supplier references, attending trade shows and the Internet. This results in competitive pricing for Cerqa’s customers.

Quality is one of the key product cost drivers. Quality issues cause a significant amount of unrecoverable costs such as recalls, line shortages, product shortages, lost sales due to customer dissatisfaction, administrative time for recovery and customer calls, excess freight and more. Cerqa is ISO certified as are its vendors. Quality is key in its mission to provide its customers with the lowest possible total product cost.

Just-in-time delivery increases sales for our retail customers and increases manufacturing productivity for our manufacturing customers. With Cerqa’s delivery model its customers are assured that the right product is delivered at the right time.

By minimizing inventory levels Cerqa frees its customers’ cash that was formerly committed to inventory and it reduces warehouse space required for storage of the product. Both of these items add to the customers’ bottom line through reduced interest expense for inventory and reduced warehousing costs.

Administrative costs are lower using Cerqa’s information system interface. This system can facilatate customers’ to issue purchase orders electronically, send invoices electronically, send emails to customers automatically based on customer driven requests, send reports to customers automatically reflecting on-time-deliveries, status of shipments and other information. Automation is another of the keys to Cerqa’s approach to reducing its customers’ total product cost.
