Cerqa Adds a Muller Martini Pantera Perfect Binding Line

AUSTIN, TX -- March 10, 2008

Cerqa has replaced it's Muller Martini Panda perfect binding line with a new Muller Martini Pantera binding line with in line trimming. This equipment doubles the capacity of Cerqa's book binding production, binding books up to 2” inches thick at speeds of 4,000 per hour.

Additionally this machine has the capability of binding books utilizing Poly Urethane Resin (PUR) glue. PUR adhesive has a higher bonding strength than conventional hot melt adhesive and greater flexibility creating books that “lay flat” when opened.
