Cerqa expands “Green” Initiatives in 2007

AUSTIN, TX -- February 4, 2008
As with many companies today Cerqa continues to do its part to be a good steward
of the environment. In 2007 Cerqa was certified as an FSC printer. This certification
allows Cerqa's clients to utilize paper from properly managed renewable forests.
Additionally we eliminate film usage and recycling of silver from old film flats.
We added a waste removal system and now our waste paper goes directly to the paper
mills for recycling. Cerqa has an ongoing commitment to be a Green Printer in Austin.
Highlights of the 2007 Initiatives
- FSC Certification in November 2007
- Added CTP to Eliminate film usage in
August of 2007
- Added waste removal system for better recycling of waste paper
in March of 2007. Almost 320 tons of paper recycled in 2007.
- Recycling of all
aluminum printing plates.
